Cranbrook Gardens

so my birthday was on friday (may 16), and my oma celebrated with me by coming to cranbrook gardens on saturday. we had the most wonderful time! it only rained on us here and there, but we were armed with umbrellas with not a care in the world. we spent most of the day smelling the lilacs and admiring the flowers. it was such a nice way to spend my birthday!

we saw that they were setting up for a wedding. what a beautiful place to get married!

my favorite of the day!

anyone who knows me knows that i absolutely LOVE asian culture. my wedding was feng shui inspired, and the decor in my house is too. when we visited the oriental garden, i was in heaven!

just as we were about to leave for the day, we heard the beautful sounds of a bagpiper. we peaked down a path and the wedding we predicted had started! it was a very cool ending to a fabulous day! :)
